𓆹 PLUTO : THE EVOLUTIONARY JOURNEY OF THE SOUL ~ JEFFREY WOLF GREEN {LINK}

Open your soul to this read. The author, one of my personal hero’s, is not from this world; his material taps into un-chartered waters changing the way we view astrology. No longer can the chart be looked upon as simply a record of personality but as a voice for your soul. Prepare to deep dive and experience your internal patterning reflected back to you through his words. Instead of outlining how the author happened upon this technique, I will leave that to you to discover, it will either pull you in, or not. One of my favourite lectures of his can be found HERE

𓆹 INNER SKY : HOW TO MAKE WISER CHOICES FOR A MORE FULFILLING LIFE ~ STEVEN FORREST {LINK}

From the same school of evolutionary thought as Jeffrey Wolf Green, Stephen Forrest has a poetic yet concise way of breaking down the fundamentals of astrology & chart reading. Sometime his chapters are littered with what is seemingly unnecessary scenarios and abstract diversions. But there lies the genius to this words, because in those abstract sentences, the method and meaning of the language of astrology sinks in through being able to relate to the hypothetical.

𓆹 YESTERDAY’S SKY : ASTROLOGY & REINCARNATION ~ STEVEN FORREST {LINK}

A journey through the nodal axis, skipped steps, the subtle memory & the distant past. Perfect for you searchers who need more than the present. Can we truly operate in the present and shift into the future if we are yet to settle the past?

𓆹 ASTROLOGY, A COSMIC SCIENCE : THE CLASSIC WORK ON SPIRITUAL ASTROLOGY {LINK}

So unbelievably thorough. This is the ONLY book I have read that provides examples of aspects - which admittedly are tricky to decipher at first. There is also a large portion that takes you through the energies of each sign on each house cusp. I wish I had have found this book at the very beginning of my astrological studies. There is some incredibly mystical and also harsh summations in this book, it is very ‘fateful’, at times taking the power of free will clean out of your hands. But as a self confessed Soul who swam in Scorpio, I kind of love this take because it forces us to try harder.

𓆹 METAPHYSICS OF ASTROLOGY : WHY ASTROLOGY WORKS ~ IVAN ANTIC {LINK}

This can be a tough read at first, it is essentially an essay, written by a man who is half mystic and half physicist - it’s a man’s essay. Had one of us written it, there would be 4x the amount of pages because we would have offered more adjectives and poetry. This read like science so give yourself time & grace. THEN use what is written in this book… when you find yourself in a debate with a male who is likely a non-astrological believing, athiest - one that thinks we die, turn to dust and cease to exist. Is likely arrogant, narrow-minded, “believes in only that which manifests in his physical reality”, scientific leaning and so in-dwelling in his left brain that his abstract mind and ability to zooom out isn’t due to be activated or another 17 lifetimes.

𓆹 THE TWELVE HOUSES : EXPLORING THE HOUSES OF THE HOROSCOPE ~ HOWARD SASPORTAS {LINK}

The houses are one of the most fated aspects in the chart in terms of time & space. Here’s an example : Pluto, the most transformative, karmic planet is slow moving and often staying in a sign for 13- 30 years. Locate which house Pluto is in within your natal chart and estimate where he will be, in say 80 years from your moment of birth (that’s you meeting projected life expectancy) - This will show you the 3 - 5 areas of life & spheres of experience that your soul has chosen to transform within. You may experience an intensity within these areas, serious growth, small deaths & cataclysms leading into beautiful soul led expansion. For example, I have Pluto in the 5th house. That involves transformative soul development throughout my 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th (if I’m lucky - baring in mind that Pluto will transit my 9th house from the ages of 59 to 83). With thorough understanding of the houses we can visualise where we are fated, what avenues of experience we are here to explore in depth, where we have complete and utter free will, where we shine, where we need to stablise & through WHAT EXPERIENCES we attain the most soul growth. I think this material will turn you onto ‘Earth School’ and its importance. How we are here to experience something written in stars and yet is wholly malleable.

𓆹 ALCHEMY : THE SOUL OF ASTROLOGY ~ CLARE MARTIN {LINK}

Remember when you signed up for Lunar Mansion expecting something… and in the very first class I spoke of alchemy for the duration - and you probably thought… “WTF?”. It is because, to truly work with your chart and to use it in your personal purpose; through raising experience, and scope and a sense of fulfillment - or… to turn this cosmic wisdom into an act of service, where you guide others and help them to locate their path, whilst allowing them to feel seen and safe - a small level of ALCHEMY is involved. It is not turning base metal or lead in to gold. But transforming one form of mental vibration into another - which is the true meaning of alchemy. PERCEPTION. Transforming something dense into something lighter. This book is another to stick with, look past the actual alchemical references and see inside what the planets are teaching us through their pacements & transits.

𓆹 THE MAGIC THREAD ~ RICHARD IDEMON {LINK}

This book has a psychological slant, using real examples of elemental lack paired with how the individual’s story unfolded around it. If you take a glance of your elemental breakdown, you may find a balanced display of planets across all four elements, or there may be an abundance of fire, some earth, a speckle of water & one dot of air. This book guides you through ‘singletons’ - planets which are left out in space in alone, holding the fort of an element while the remainder of the planets are partying together in unison. This resonated for me as with my natal Venus in Aquarius, it is the planet that I have found hardest to integrate, this may be because other than Chiron, it is my only planet in air. Venus in Aquarius has the tendency to feel like an outsider at the best of times, a constant signature of experience throughout this life. There is a very clever magic thread calculation included in this book, the author was on to something truly special but unfortunately passed before his time. Read it.

𓆹 COSMOS AND PSYCHE INTIMATIONS OF A NEW WORLD ~ RICHARD TARNAS {LINK}

This is very much mundane astrology focused, honing in on the impact of outer planetary transits and their influence on society. Personally I skipped the majority, because I purchased the book for Tarnas’ GENIUS, divinely interpreted and incredibly Uranian descriptions of the planets. Seriously, if you find yourself struggling to grasp a planet, this book will facilitate the correct landing. The best part of this book can be found HERE

𓆹 UNDERSTANDING KARMIC COMPLEXES - PATRICIA L. WALSH (LINK)

Patricia Walsh carried out a vast number of past life regressions, her findings were correlated to the client’s karmic axis through which she formed the skeleton of this beautiful book. If you’re looking to understand which themes may be imprinted upon your karmic energy, potential locations of your past lives and experiences relating to your personal axis - then swallow this whole. A very full and insightful breakdown of the karmic axis and its implications within your present incarnation. Perfect.
