Astrology has soothed something within me since being a child. I have early memories of my Auntie reading me my horoscope at the age of four, a ritual I continued myself until I recognised that there is more, so much more to be found buried within this ancient practice. As a wayward and unhappy teen I used to travel into the city with £10 in my purse. My bundle of pound coins was enough to cover my transportation, a sparse spot of lunch and very little else. But these Saturday afternoons served a greater purpose, it led me to the book shop tucked beside Grey’s Monument. A staircase would lead you to the third floor, the resting place of the Mind, Body and Spirit section, a quiet alcove surrounded by a bountiful display of books. Many a rainy afternoon would be spent upon Waterstone’s red worn carpet, legs crossed and eyes down always out-staying my welcome, browsing and never buying. I would inhale the words belonging to the pages of the astrology books that I couldn’t afford. 

They say to look towards the activities you poured yourself into when you were young and free-willed and recognise its significance in the present. To let that activity lift you out of something when it outstretches itself to find you.

The entirety of my twenties was spent in a black hole of destruction. And my thirties were the decade that I climbed out. The process I use within Effloresce was initially created by myself, for myself. When I began my personal healing journey I needed to see the way out, see something visible and tangible with my own eyes so that I could plot a path forward. A roadmap that fed my unique template, one that allowed me to liberate myself from past shackles and self imposed limitations, to heal and transmute ancestral loops, to make room for something new, then call what truly aligned inwards. Astrology is incredibly visual and allows you to see the unseen.

This offering is a gathering of many years worth of study, both within astrology and energy healing. I have walked this road myself, used the same methods. I have drunk every sip of this process, it tastes like ambrosia. It empties of you of what you no longer need. It creates space within your current field and it realigns you so that you may summon what is yours.
